The kettle features a removable anti-scale filter that you can easily rinse under running water whileStrix® overheating regulators ensure that the RK-M1721-E automatically switches off when water boils or if you accidentally turn it on when empty.

Easy to Clean and Safe to Use
You can easily remove the anti-scale filter located in the Redmond RK-M1721-E's spout. This is a considerable advantage over conventional kettles, as this is the area where most dirt settles. Once removed, you can comfortably wash the filter under running water. If you accidentally switch the kettle on when it is empty, you do not have to worry about any damage as Strix® overheating controllers automatically switches the appliance off.
