Felt brand

Felt was founded by motocross mechanic Jim Mott after designing and building a triathlon bike for the motocross star Johnny O'Mara in 1980, who later won the California Times Championship. Jim moved from motocross to triathlon bikes, and in 1994 he founded Felt Bicycles, first under the patronage of Answers Products. Since 2000 he has moved into Europe and has expanded his portfolio to include mountain bikes and BMXs as well. Felt develops it products closely with the input and help of professionals. Road and timing wheels are tested and developed in wind tunnels.
