With the advanced IEEE 802.11n MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output) technology, the device can simultaneously operate over two antennas in the Tx and Rx band and thus suppress interference and signal degradation during transmission over long distances or overcome physical barriers typical for small offices or a large apartments. This results in an incredible wireless performance boost, even in high-rise multi-apartment buildings. And more importantly, you can easily develop a wireless network over long distances, which was impossible with older 11g products!

QSS button - Quick Security Settings
The TP-Link TL-WA801ND is compatible with the WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) settings. It is equipped with Quick Security Setup feature that allows you to simply press the QSS button and automatically set a WPA2 secured connection, which is more secure than WEP encryption. Not only is this faster than normal security setups but more convenient as well - you don’t need to remember the password!

PoE support - flexible extension
The access point can be powered via an Ethernet cable, which transmits both data and energy at the same time. This allows the access point to be placed anywhere within a distance of up to 30m. This feature multiplies your options and you can place the access point wherever you get the best signal, such as on a wall or ceiling of your office.
