RODE Reporter has been designed as a broadcast recording presentation and interview microphone. Its omnidirectional polar pattern makes it easy to pick up sounds from all directions. That means you don't have to aim the microphone in the precise direction from which the sound is coming in order to record it clearly. Additionally, its frequency response has been specially tailored for voice reproduction, to maximise intelligibility and deliver crisp, clear results in almost any condition. That gives you great freedom of use and makes RODE Reporter an ideal microphone for all interview and presentation applications.
An innovative multi-layer mesh basket protects the microphone from wind and environmental noise, so you don't have to use any bulky and distracting foam wind shields. To eliminate mechanical handling noise, the microphone features an advanced spring-loaded shock mount that isolates the capsule from the handle. The handle is made of durable die-cast aluminium alloy and is coated with a discrete matte black anti-glare finish. It comes with a removable microphone flag that provides a large area for your logo.
