Microphone - thanks to its size and compactness, the ideal stereo microphone for digital SLR cameras and small home camcorders. Highly sensitive 1/2" cardioid condenser capsule in the XY position for a wide stereo image with a natural depth. The integrated shock mount provides superior isolation of the capsules from vibration and manipulation which protects against the degrading of the recording. 75Hz high pass filter to eliminate low-frequency unwanted noise. -10dB PAD to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone - ideal for a loud signal source. Special 20dB Signal Strength Functions - When activated, the proportion of poor quality internal mirror and camera preamplifiers reduces the resulting sound. RODE Stereo VideoMic Pro is a comfortably compact, directional microphone with broadcast audio quality recorded alongside digital cameras and cameras . High-resolution half-inch condenser capsules are firmly placed in a field where they provide a naturally sounding stereo recording .Unnecessary noise in handling prevents the shock-absorbing system from effectively dampening vibrations that would grow into unpleasant annoyance. Ideal for recording music, atmosphere, but also for a well-heard conversation .
The advantage of the model is to increase the level by 20 dB for digital SLRs. This allows the user to lower the preamplifier level. Effectively reduces noise in the camera where the sound quality of the camera is relatively low.The optional -10dB level attenuation allows recording of loud sound sources such as live music interpretations or motorsport. Also adjustable is a filter that boosts the sensitivity from 40 Hz to 80 Hz to avoid disturbing crashing.
