The SAGE BES980 Lever Coffee Maker will make it easy for all coffee enthusiasts to prepare the perfect cup of coffee. The SAGE provides you with the automatic grinding of the beans, plus the exact dosing and tamping features. The low-pressure pre-infusion function creates the perfect coffee flavour. You get two separate heaters so that you can heat the milk and make the coffee at the same time.
The most important part of the SAGE BES980 is its heating system with two stainless-steel water heaters and a steam nozzle. The taste of the coffee is largely determined by the brewing head. It is equipped with a heating element that provides a constant temperature during extraction. There is also a built-in conical mill. The SAGE BES980 brews the real, authentic coffee that you desire. And it does not overcharge you for it.
Like all professional coffee makers, the SAGE BES980 comes equipped with a pressurised valve. Extraction pressure is regulated with the over-pressure valve to make sure your drinks aren't overdrawn, and you can enjoy consistent coffee in less time with dedicated espresso and steam boiler pumps. It prevents the coffee grains from burning.
The low-pressure pre-wash system delivers water at a pressure to allow the coffee to swell and release its aromas. Once pre-infusion is completed, maximum flavour potential is achieved when espresso is extracted. You can also set the exact amount of grinding you prefer. You also have a choice about the milk temperature you prefer. The dual stainless-steel boilers and heated group head, both regulated by the digital temperature control (PID) automatically delivers the water at precisely the right temperature, extracting maximum flavour potential. It also compensates for fluctuations in temperature throughout the process, which is why the final coffee taste is so delicious.
The SAGE BES980 coffee machine display allows you to choose the size of the cup or use the quick heating function, refill the water tanks or set the timer. It is also possible to set the coffee machine to automatically start. The decalcification function is very handy.
The conical coffee grinder grinds, dries and strengthens the coffee and leaves no mess.
The stainless-steel water heaters and brewing head prevent temperature fluctuations when extracting coffee, thereby ensuring a delicious taste.
The steam nozzle is used to foam the milk on a latte or cappuccino. When you have finished using it, it will clean itself.
