Downhill skis Salomon ES / MAX 8 offers a great experience on every turn. The ability to accurately and quickly fold and descend the ski slopes through perfect arches is their own. Kernel Poplar Woodcore ensures stability, liveliness and error relief. Its wooden part is covered with composite material, which also greatly absorbs unevenness. Full Sandwich Sidewalls with full-length sidewalls ensure stability, accuracy, optimum power transfer and excellent edge grip, especially appreciated at higher speeds. The Full Camber profile, on the other hand, provides excellent driveability on hard and icy slopes and precision throughout the arc.

Salomon ES / MAX 8 with maximum edge grip

For even better grip and precision, the Salomon ES / MAX 8 is equipped with Single TI laminates. One layer of titanium at the top of the core thus increases torsional stiffness and thus the performance of the skis. A thin layer of rubber between the edge and the side of the Pulse Pad dampens vibration, ensures smooth ride and better snow contact. The integrated Edge Amplifier then transmits vertical energy more efficiently to the edges of the ski for maximum edge grip even on icy surfaces, while facilitating arc passage.

Tail and Tip Protector protect the tip and tail of the ski, giving it a longer lifespan and keeping it in great condition even when really intensive use.
