The new generation of Samsung's 960 PRO Solid State Drive offers uncompromising performance in a compact M.2 design, making it the perfect choice for high-end PCs and workstations. The drive employs the V-NAND technology with PCI Express Gen 3×4 bus support, delivering higher data throughput and lower latency than SATA SSDs.
The breathtaking speed of data processing
Thanks to its excellent throughput, the drive is also suitable for processing demanding tasks such as various simulations, data analyses and more. Unlike conventional SATA SSDs, the Samsung 960 offers read speeds of up to 3500 MB/s and write speeds of up to 2100 MB/s.

Compared to the SATA SSDs, the Samsung 960 Pro is more energy efficient, so don't worry that the battery capacity will be drained too fast during performance-intensive tasks. The average consumption is around 5.1 W.
High load resistance
Using integrated insulators, The V-NAND technology increases drive's efficiency and extends its lifespan. Insulators also make sure that the individual parts are under less stress while increasing their wear resistance, too.
