The lens boasts an aperture of f/2, allowing you to capture detailed images with true-to-life colours even under poor lighting conditions. This lens is ideal for capturing high-quality photographs of landscapes and large architectural marvels.

The Samyang 16mm lens offers a wide-ribbed manual focus ring with smooth operation, so you can focus exactly where you want. You can try different depths of field to emphasise the desired details, giving your images an artistic touch. You can also use 77mm filters and polarisers with the lens for unique, interesting creations.
Quality optics for realistic-looking images
Within the compact body of this lens, the optical construction consists of 13 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical lenses and one Extra-low Dispersion (ED) element, one hybrid aspherical lens, and special Samyang UMC (Ultra Multi Coating) technology. The ED element effectively suppresses chromatic aberration, and the hybrid aspherical lens guarantees excellent image contrast across the whole frame. The special UMC coating reduces flare and ghosting.
