The 3.5" format is designed chiefly for desktop PCs, data centres, and other data-processing devices. One of the most important parameters is clearly the rotational speed. The 7200 RPM RPM ensures better system response across the board. The overall data capacity of the HDD is 2000 GB. The device features a 256 MB memory cache. All the data communication between the Seagate hard drive and a computer or other device takes place through the SAS interface.
