The 3.5" format is designed mainly for desktop PCs and data centres. One of the most important parameters is obviously the rotational speed of the HDD. The 7200 RPM RPM provides better speeds when working with multimedia and data. The hard disk provides a storage capacity of 8000 GB. The device uses a 256 MB memory cache. The data transfer between the Seagate hard drive and a computer or other device takes place via the SAS interface.
