The eagerly awaited Sigma camera lens has a modern metal body made of progressive materials and an enhanced lens design for professional image quality in a wide range of photography themes. It excels particularly at portraiture, both in a studio and at unusual sites. Owing to its impressive lens speed, the device is capable of sharp images even in places where light forms a part of the ambiance.
The lens employs an entirely new optical design and first-rate components that have undergone thorough testing. This marks the start of a new era in artistic expression without blemishes caused by the optical assembly. That is why the camera lens contains 2 FLD (fluorite) elements and two special glass FLD lenses, thanks to which it boasts ultra-low dispersion and high refractive index values to achieve the top-class performance.
What also stands out as a part of its autofocus system is the Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM). Its high torque helps to achieve faster autofocus. Via a Sigma USB dock (not included), you can not only upgrade the firmware, but also adjust the focus settings or positions. If you want to add a blurry background to highlight a person or an object, the 9-blade iris diaphragm creates an astounding bokeh effect.
