Durable and compact lens

The lightweight and compact Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC MACRO OS HSM Lens uses a new optical design that consists of 16 optical elements in 14 groups. In the new Contemporary range, thermally stable composite materials are used to provide greater durability of the lens and it has a 30% smaller size compared to previous models.

This model is intended for Sony SLR cameras with APS-C sensor.

High lens luminance

The advantage of this lens is the high f/2.8 brightness at 17mm focal length at f/4.0 on a 70mm focal point.
