It is designed to withstand rough outdoor conditions, including clouds of dust and water splashes, so the only thing you have to worry about is finding the right place and time for your photography.

The lens is designed to capture natural-looking images even from a great distance. Its exceptional image quality is achieved through a rigorously tested optical design. The designers paid particular care to reduce chromatic aberration, which is otherwise common in telephoto lenses. The Sigma company experience ensures your photos look natural in all conditions. The lens is also fully compatible with Sigma's teleconverter for getting an extended reach without any reduction in quality or AF.
Super advanced electronics
The integrated HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) takes care of quick and quiet autofocusing with extra torque. The AF is so quiet it brings distance photography to a whole new level. The electronic equipment includes an advanced optical image stabiliser for beautifully sharp images. The options include a manual mode and horizontal and vertical object tracking. You can use the optional dock (not included) for lens customisation including personalised focus limiters, 4 zone micro focus tuning, image stabilisation, and much more.
