Advanced optical design

The lens benefits from newly developed linear auto focus motor that provides smooth, direct focus without additional optical elements. This contributes to accurate and quiet autofocus for stills and videos. The inner focusing system corrects the aberration level to maintain steady image quality regardless of the position of the autofocus. The lens features lightweight, compact design. The maximum aperture of F/2.8 makes this lens highly effective even in low light. The seven-bladed diaphragm allows you to create an attractive blur in the out of focus areas.
