This stone is suitable for sharpening slightly dull knives. Siguro Bamboo Base uses extra-hard synthetic corundum to sharpen knives made from even very hard steel. On a 1000 grit stone you can sharpen the knife finely. The blade is then smoothed and polished to a perfect finish on a 3000 grit stone.

How to use Siguro Bamboo Base 1000/3000?
Before grinding, the grinding stone must be soaked in water for 10 to 20 minutes. Then you can start grinding on the rougher side - put the knife at an angle of 15 to 20° to the stone (or use a guide) and then make smooth circles on the stone. Just a few strokes from each side of the knife. Once the knife is sharpened, inspect it. If the blade is smooth and shiny, it is properly sharpened. If the blade is dull or irregular, the grinding must be repeated.
How to clean and store Siguro Bamboo Base 1000/3000?
When you have finished grinding, just rinse the stone with water and a common detergent. It also includes a bamboo base in which the grinding stone can be stored, making the Siguro Bamboo Base 1000/3000 an attractive addition to your kitchen. Allow the stone to dry thoroughly before placing it in the bamboo base.
