This box is versatile and therefore compatible with the vast majority of laptops that have a 12.7mm optical drive. The installation is simple; just place a 2.5" HDD in the conversion tray and insert the tray in place of the original drive. Then simply insert the removed optical drive into the exquisitely designed external aluminium case. You will not miss it and you now have a portable DVD drive that you can easily connect to your computer using the retractable USB cable.
