The Simplehuman waste bin is made of a stainless steel and comes in a white colour, and boasts a 45l volume. The waste bin has a half-round shape and its main advantage is a non-contact control, which allows for an easy and hygienic disposal of your waste. The lid opens with an infrared motion sensor that detects the waving of a hand.
A Sophisticated Opening
The waste bin sensor scans the space above the lid to prevent it from unnecessarily opening. The opening mechanism has a noise level of only 52dB, which corresponds to the volume of a human whisper. Just wave your hand and the lid will seamlessly and quickly open and then close itself. Once the lid is open, the sensor also reads the space in front of the bin, in order for it to stay open for as long as you need it.

The waste bin has a stable base, an anti-dirt nano-layer, a bag dispenser right inside the bin, and a separate bag pocket on the back of the basket.
