The defrost function adjusts the microwave's settings for the safe preparation of frozen food. If you intend to defrost food regularly, be sure to choose a microwave with an appropriate size. To defrost poultry you need a larger microwave with a volume of 20-25 litres or more. Some defrost features automatically set the required defrost time according to the weight and type of food.
