There's a handy app for both Android and iOS that offers tutorial modes and a variety of playing options. Delay (latency) is a key factor in playing technological (smart) musical instruments. The AeroBand PocketDrum 2 uses an Inertial AI chip and a spatial motion computation algorithm to accurately capture movements in three-dimensional space. For an optimal drumming experience, it is recommended to use headphones or speakers connected to your device via cable. The AeroBand PocketDrum 2 PLUS drumsticks make percussion sounds and vibrate with each beat, with the level of vibration depending on the bounce of the drum and the force of the beat. This allows you to concentrate better on your drumming.
Clear app for playing and easy drum setup
With the Apps for Android and iOS you can choose from your favourite songs. There are 3 instructional playing modes, so there's something for every musician. AeroBand's unique content includes learning, entertainment and other modes to fully satisfy learning and playing needs. You can also change the drum layout and make other settings in the app. The AeroBand PocketDrum 2 PLUS electronic drums connect to your smart device via Bluetooth, making it quick and convenient to use the app.
Electronic drums have a new adapter for zero latency
With the new adapter, you can enjoy smooth drumming without the need for an app. The adapter serves as a receiver for playing with AeroBand PocketDrum 2 PLUS electronic drums. This reduces the latency to zero. The adapter can be connected directly to headphones or a speaker using a cable. Specifically, it can be connected via 3.5mm jack/AUX or MIDI and charged via USB-C. If you still want to use the app, you can also connect the adapter directly via Bluetooth to your smartphone, tablet or computer.
SONG mode
Drum to the beat of your favourite songs, even if you have no experience playing drums. The app will guide you and show you where and when to hit and allow you to choose a song based on difficulty: light, medium and heavy. In this mode, anyone can play the AeroBand PocketDrum 2 PLUS drums like a musical star.
FREE DEMO mode
Advanced drummers and students will use this mode to practice the routines they have learned. Amateur drummers or beginners can get a feel for drumming with the AeroBand PocketDrum 2 PLUS and learn how drums work and how to use them properly.
Game mode
The game mode consists of gradually moving from lower levels with simpler songs to higher levels with more complex songs in the app's library.
AeroBand PocketDrum 2 PLUS drum kit layout options
Depending on your preference, you can choose between a six-piece or seven-piece layout. These are available in either the classic or the kicker/foot variant. The kickers are separate sensors that you will only receive in the AeroBand PocketDrum 2 PLUS package. You simply clip them to your shoe laces or around your feet with the included elastic band. The kick drum allows you to control the bass drum and hi-hat with your feet - just like a classic drum kit. (The following sensors are required for the variant with kickers)
