The smart keyboard for the 10.5" iPad Pro is a high-performance, stylish and compact keyboard. With the smart keyboard you simply turn your tablet into a notebook and vice versa. With the smart keyboard, your iPad Pro becomes a handy gadget for taking school notes, meeting minutes or other office work. In addition to the buttons and other standard parts, the keyboard also has a built-in stand. When attached to the iPad Pro, it literally looks like an open notebook. On the contrary, if you are not using the device, you can use the keyboard as an ultra-light and ultra-slim display case. The smart keyboard for the iPad Pro has a height of only 4mm, making it a great partner not only for home or office, but also for travel use.

Ultra-slim, Ultra-light yet Durable Design
As already mentioned, the smart keyboard has a height of only 4mm. Despite these incredibly compact dimensions, the keyboard is still very substantial. The whole smart keyboard construction consists of three layers. The upper and outer layers are highly resistant polyurethane. This is complemented by an inner layer of soft microfiber lining, which, when it is in its folded state, protects the iPad Pro screen from scratches, dirt and dust. The essentials, however, lie exactly in the middle. Created in the middle layer is a revolutionary conductive fabric that ensures smooth communication between the iPad and the smart keyboard.
The smart keyboard does not need any plugs, switches or even a built-in keyboard battery. All communication is via the new Smart Connector (magnetic connector). This, in conjunction with the conductive fabric, allows two-way exchange of data and energy. That is why no built-in keypad battery is required. The smart keyboard US is powered directly by the iPad.
