The SEL-18200LE is a lightweight and compact lens designed for Sony SLR cameras. With a focal length range from 18 to 200mm, it fits the role of a universal lens, so it can easily cope with the vast majority of situations you may encounter during a shoot. At its shortest focal length it is suitable for capturing landscapes and architecture, serving as a portrait lens at the range from 35 to 80mm, and at its longest focal length it can be used for shooting outdoor sports. Thanks to a minimum close-focusing distance of 0.5m you can dare to take macro photography. Luminosity in this type of standard lens - F3.5 to F6.3. Focusing is quick and precise. It is ideal for capturing moving subjects and shooting video in HD quality. This lens features a 7-blade circular aperture for a beautifule and more natural blur effect. The presence of the Optical SteadyShot is another great advantage. This prevents images from blurring when shooting handheld. The image output quality is high. This is mainly due to 4 aspherical lens elements and 2 ED glass elements. They ensure perfect contrast and sharpness with minimal distortion.
