The Sony FDR-AX700 4K Handycam has a compact design and has the possibility to shoot 4K video. It offers up to four times more detail per image than a conventional HD camera. The Sony FDR-AX700 camcorder has a CMOS image chip that helps capture the most exciting moments of your life in great detail. You can use both a classic viewfinder and a tiltable LCD display. Because of the comfortable controls which are all within reach, shooting is very intuitive and natural. You don't need to look for the right buttons all the time, and thus you can fully concentrate on what you are recording.
You can rely on the Sony FDR-AX700's autofocus at all times. It is based on a system of up to 237 AF points, densely covering 83% of the image area. The AF points have fast detection and can reliably focus on objects, such as children or animals which move fast and unpredictably. The autofocus is controlled by the fast and modern Bionz X processor.
At present, the high dynamic range (HDR) technology is the most advanced way to shoot videos and take photos. Combined with the extremely high resolution, it reveals a dramatically wider colour, contrast and brightness range. The Sony FDR-AX700 camcorder uses the Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) system that does not require any extra processing. Simply connect the camcorder to an HLG-compatible Sony TV to enjoy it immediately.
