
The Sony LA-EA4 adapter allows the use of Alpha lenses on NEX cameras, including the new Full Frame Compact with Sony Alpha A7 and A7R interchangeable lenses. The adapter is equipped with an autofocus motor, aperture control mechanism and Translucent Mirror technology for full AF. The adapter is equipped with a tripod thread for use with larger lenses. The package includes a housing and caps.
Translucent Mirror Technology inside the adapter enables fast and accurate autofocus with phase detection. It works with any compatible A-mount lens, attached to the camera via the E-mount system, to ensure accurate focusing of moving objects such as sportsmen, nature, or playing children. When taking photos or videos using a camera with an E mount bay, an automatic exposure setting is also available.
