SparkFun Multi-Chassis - Tank Version

Arduino is an open-source platform for easy designing and development of programmable electronic devices. It is perfect for fast prototyping of toys, devices as well as control and regulation applications without the need for a deeper knowledge of electronics principles. So you can engineer, for example, monitoring devices with different types of sensors or build a remote control robot without the need for soldering and with the help of a simple development platform and programming language.

SparkFun offers a wide range of products that have been designed to be used in combination with the Arduino platform. The most interesting models include robotic chassis. The Multi-Chassis is eqquiped with two gearboxes connected to four wheels with diameters of 52mm. Its rugged tank treads allow the chassis to drive even in challenging terrain. The Multi-Chassis's aluminium body offers more than enough space for other necessary components and features a holder for five AA batteries.
