Looks can be deceiving
Beneath the façade of a plain-looking watch, an excellent smartwatch is hidden. It can greatly complement your phone and be an uncompromising sports watch. The Garmin Fenix 5S Silver features a sensitive GPS/GLONASS receiver with a new EXO steel antenna placed around the colour Chroma display, which remains switched on all the time. In normal use, the battery can last up to 12 days.
Daily Activity Monitor
The Fénix 5 watch offers the opportunity to track activities all day long. It is possible to set the target number of steps per day, track the distance travelled + number of steps, display the calories burned, including those passive. The Garmin Connect web interface then provides the ability to detail and compare your performance.
Beautiful design
The watch Garmin Fenix 5 offers a large 1,2", round, colour display. Unlike other smart watches on the market, the display does not go out and excels with perfect readability in the sun. Use the free app for your phone and customise the background of your watch.
Training features
The watch Fenix 5 is one of the best-equipped watches and offers a wide range of training features. There are different alarm settings for heart rate, runtime, angularity, distance, power. It is also possible to use preset training plans for running or cycling.
Swimming and skiing
Garmin Fenix 5 features built-in sensors and is very resistant, so it can be used to measure swimming activities. The watch can measure the distance swum, SWOLF value, swimming effectiveness, the number of shots and recognise the swimming style. For fans of winter sports, the Fenix 5 features cross-country and downhill skiing. Due to the built-in barometer, the watch recognises when you are skiing and when you are on a skilift.
Wireless connectivity
Fenix 5 has the ability to connect to Android smartphones and iOS smartphones via Bluetooth. The watch is then able to display phone notifications. It also features the wireless ANT+ standard used mainly to connect fitness accessories.
