Side Imaging

The underwater situation is based on the signal processing of the three sonar beams. One is a beam pointing down to the bottom, the other two pointing on the sides at an angle of 90° from the ship's path. Unlike the conical beam (pointing down to the bottom), these beams are very narrow horizontally (measured in the backward direction) and vertically wide, from top to bottom. Side Imaging perfectly portrays the underwater scene in real-world imagery, which reminds you of night shots from a classic camera, Night Shot. This technology will show, for example, sunken wrecks, home foundations, small objects, The use of this imaging method is very broad.

Down Imaging

Down Imaging technology offers an exceptionally good picture of the situation under the ship thanks to the special signal processing of a high-frequency ultrasonic probe. The unique software analyzes the reflections and verifies their location to show the objects and the situation directly below the ship (the size and position of the fish, the nature of the bottom and its profile, the bottom and underwater objects) using the Down Imaging display. The Sonar does not show the situation on the sides of the ship (in this case, Side Imaging is utilized). 

Current and custom map data

Sonar uses internal GPS and built-in UniMap maps to plot map views. You can now use the memory card to load other optional map data and work with your own map and navigation data.The memory card allows you to upgrade the operating system, capture images and videos underwater, cruise, and navigation data.
