Image Quality Is Related to Optics Quality

This is confirmed by the material from which the Levenhuk microscope lenses are made. Their special optical glass is highly transparent and does not distort the result of the observation. The anti-reflective coating, which covers the lenses, increases the proportion of the penetrating light and, consequently, the image contrast.

The microscope has three lenses with the magnification of 4x, 10x and 40x. The lens with the magnification of 40x is equipped with a special spring mechanism that prevents damage to the lens in case of an accidental contact with the preparation. The spring-loaded lens can slide a bit, by which it prevents possible damage. The kit also includes a Barlow lens that doubles the magnification of any used lens. This gives you the magnification of up to 1280x!

Universal LED Lighting System

Brightness is enhanced by an original system of upper and lower LED lighting. You can observe transparent objects like microorganisms in a drop of water or plant cell structure. It also allows you to evaluate the quality of paper or invisible scratches on opaque objects like coins. The lighting can be powered via the mains or 3 AA batteries.
