The blade of this knife is made of stainless Sandvick 12C27 steel, which is characterised by its high corrosion resistance and great toughness, hardness and blade durability. The ergonomically shaped handle with a rubberised surface ensures a safe knife grip. The greatest surprise of the knife is the presence of a firelock hidden in the handle. It produces sparks at 2980°C and can ignite both the outdoor hearth and the gas stove. Not even moisture is a problem for the firelock as it even works well when it is wet.
