Opinel VR N°08 Carbon
The pocket folding knife VR N°08 from the world-famous OPINEL has a carbon steel blade that lasts for many years with high sharpness. The handle of the knife is made of hard side wood. Thanks to its sophisticated shape, the handle fits perfectly in your hand and gives you greater confidence when using the knife. OPINEL knives have a Virobloc safety lock (VRI), which secures the blade against accidental opening or closing of the knife.
Key features of the Opinel VR N°08 Carbon pocket knife
- Closing knife
- Carbon steel blade material
- The handle is made of beech wood
- Patented 2-function Virobloc safety against closing and opening the knife
Tradition is the key to success
The first OPINEL knife was produced in 1890 and over time the brand has become a cult in the field of pocket knife closures. Today, OPINEL knives are being sold worldwide at a staggering 360 knives per hour. Most of the wood used to make the handles comes directly from France. The rest is made up of imports of exotic woods for luxury knife series (ebony, zebrano, rosewood, etc. ).
Blade length:
8.5 cm
Note:
For knives with carbon blades, it is necessary to take into account that the steel may blacken or slightly rust over time. However, this can be avoided by sharpening the blade after each use.
