It is shorter so children can ride with their legs closer together, which helps with control and turning even in sharp curves. The lightweight construction also makes the board easier to handle and carry. What is a Waveboard?
A waveboard, sometimes also called snakeboard, sits somewhere between a snowboard and a skateboard. Essentially, it is made up of two separate planks which are connected by a moving joint. The advantage of a waveboard compared to a classic skateboard is that you do not need to push with your feet on the ground in order to move. A waveboard is moved with hip movements, which is why riding it can look and feel similar to a snake's movement.
The waveboard came to life in 2005, when it emerged as a new form of entertaining leisure activity. Since then, the waveboard has spread all over the world and has won over thousands of fans.
