Luminous flux
Measured in lumens (lm), the higher the value, the more intensely the head torch shines. Some LED head torches offer multiple brightness levels, adjustable either in steps or continuously. However, a higher luminous flux shortens battery life.Up to 100lm – a head torch for home use (lighting in the cellar, loft, or for car repairs).
100–400lm – for outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Over 400lm – for extreme professions and sports (rescue workers, mountaineers).
