Flexible use on different vessels

The STATUS vacuum lid stands out for its versatility. You can put it on almost any container. The only condition is a straight top edge. The lid is designed for containers with a diameter of 10-20 cm, so you can close a wide range of containers with it. The silicone seal adapts and creates the vacuum necessary to preserve freshness.

Safe materials and easy maintenance

BPA-free materials have been used in the production process and are safe for contact with food. The top of the lid is ABS plastic, which is scratch resistant. The sealing parts and the valve are made of silicone, which ensures a tight seal. There is no need to wash the lid by hand after use as it can be put in the dishwasher.

How the vacuum lid works

The principle of vacuuming is to remove the air from the container, which significantly slows down the oxidation process. The lid thus extends the shelf life of stored food, which retains its flavour and aroma for longer. To create a vacuum, a vacuum pump must be used which is fitted to the lid valve. Use it to suck out the air and seal the container hermetically.
