Data protection and integrity with Btrfs

The new generation Btrfs file system has tools that prevent data corruption. Btrfs holds two copies of metadata on the volume, allowing you to recover data in the event of hard drive corruption or the occurrence of bad sectors. For a common file volume, work tool errors are detected. However, Btrfs creates checksums for each read operation, so the error is detected immediately and auto correction occurs. Snapshot features let you create a copy of the entire shared folder. This way, in the event of database loss or corruption due to human factor failure, you can quickly recover data back to the moment the image was taken.
