NAS uses the efficient DiskStation Manager (DSM) browser operating system. The intuitive user interface lets you easily manage all your server settings, and even add different packages to customise it to your needs. To protect important data and other assets, DSM 6.0 offers new management and security tools. With the deployment of Snapshot Replication, DSM 6.0 offers businesses virtually uninterrupted data protection and replication across multiple sites for more comprehensive protection. In addition, Synology Hyper Backup allows for data to be retained in one location while storage consumption is minimised.

Is it important for you to have your files on hand no matter what device you use? With Cloud Station, synchronising files between different devices and creating your own private cloud is easier than ever before. Business security is covered by two-step authentication: group authorization (local and VPN), and encryption. If you are worried about unwanted deletions or file changes, it can also save up to 32 old versions of each file. In addition, Cloud Station offers more accurate synchronisation control and backup of files from your Synology NAS to an external cloud-based host.
