This high-performance lens with focal length of 14 - 150mm and brightness of F3.5 - F5.8 is designed for micro 4/3. Its materials and improved design provide a high performance and superior image quality.

The lens is compact in size and consists of 17 elements stored in 13 groups. It features, among other things, 2 molded aspherical members, one LD member (low scatter), due to which the Tamron for micro 4/3 system effectively compensates for aberration to provide perfect images.

The lens can also be used for macro shots, the smallest focal length is 50cm. TheTamron VC (Vibration Compensation) stabilisation minimises shocks while shooting without a tripod. It features a low weight of 350g .

With these parameters, it is the ideal lens for use as a special wide-angle to a basic telephoto lens. The focussing drive is silent and fast, so it's suitable for reportage photography, and for example in the wild, when you do not know the distance you need to take the picture. Full support for full manual focus is also available for video shooting. The lens is also available in silver.
