This TAMRON AF lens all-in-one zoom lens covers practically any shooting situation with its focal length of 18-200mm and is suitable for mirrorless Sony cameras with interchangeable-lenses and the APS-C sensor. The quality materials and improved design of the lens provide excellent performance and superior image quality.

The F/3.5-6.3 lens is compact in size and consists of 17 elements sorted to 13 groups. Its features include, among other things, 3 moulded aspherical elements, 2 LD (low-scattering) elements and UXR (hybrid elements for lens compactness) elements that effectively reduce colour distortion and image blurring.

The lens can also be used for macro shots and the shortest focal length is 50cm. The Tamron VC (Vibration Compensation) stabilization technology minimises vibrations when using the camera handheld without a tripod. In this scenario, you will also appreciate its low weight of mere 460g.

With its parameters, it is clear the lens is all-around excellent and can substitute pretty much the whole camera set - from a special wide-angle set, to basic, and finally to a full-featured telephoto lens. The autofocus motor is pleasantly quiet and fast, making it suitable for documentary photography or normal use when you simply do not know the distance to your potential photography subject beforehand. The lens also supports full manual focus for video shooting. The lens is also available in black.
