Ultra powerful
As befits a flagship of any TANNOY loudspeaker series, the Mercury 7.4 boasts class-leading, peak power handling at 300W and extremely high efficiency (93dB/W,) making it suitable for a broad range of amplifiers. The wideband frequency range (32Hz-32kHz) provides precise, high-resolution sound even for louder listening sessions. These features were achieved due to updated drivers. The finest acoustic materials were used to optimise the design.

The drivers are configured in the D'Appolito configuration to produce the broadest possible soundstage at high volume. By placing the tweeter centrally between the two midbass drivers, the speakers' dispersion characteristics are smoothed through the critical crossover region resulting in a highly articulate musical performance on or off the speakers' main axis. The sound will fill the entire room, so no matter where you are sitting, you will always hear an excellent articulation of musical performances, ensuring perfect musical engagement.
