Tascam DP-008EX

With the Tascam DP-008EX eight-track recorder, you'll be able to create whenever creativity strikes. Two microphones are integrated right in the front of the recorder, so you don't need anything else to record acoustic guitar or vocals. With a chromatic tuner and metronome included, this is one of the most easily portable recording devices on the market.

Wide connectivity

The Tascam DP-008EX includes two TS/XLR microphone/line inputs. You can then switch one of the jack inputs (TS) to a high-impedance guitar input. There is also a headphone output and a line output via cinch. Recordings are written to SD/SDHC memory cards (up to 32 GB) and USB 2.0 is available for connection to a Windows or Mac Os computer. Four AA batteries are used to power the recorder. An optional power adapter can be purchased (Tascam PS-P520U not included).

Effects Processor in the Tascam DP-008EX

The Tascam DP-008EX includes effects such as EQ, compressor, de-esser and exciter on all input channels. There are also six different types of reverb to help you tailor the sounds to any style of song. Easily adjust the reverb level with dedicated control knobs for each track. You can master the files manually or use the auto-analysis mastering function.
