Powerful and reliable, the Tefal Control Express´ simple design and 1.7 litre capacity is perfectly suited for any household. It is fitted with a full 360 degree rotational power base, assisted opening lid and filter for reducing the deposition of limescale. Making one of the 7 temperature selections using the digital display is ideal for a perfect flavoured tea infusion. Refill your friends and family cups whenever they want using the convenient 60min keep warm function. The display is active for 30 minutes before going in to standby mode.
Precise temperature settings to make any hot drink better
Research shows that the ideal temperature for white tea brewing is approx. 75°C. High temperature may well be why your green tea tastes bitter. White and green teas have delicate leaves, and therefore require below boiling water temperatures between 60–80 °C. Herbs from different locations retain different characteristics and require particular water temperature when used to prepare teas and infusions.
