The Tenda W316R is a wireless Wi-Fi router supporting 802.11n-lite in 2.4 GHz and allowing communication at the speed of up to 150 Mb/s. The Tenda W316R boasts the new sophisticated Broadcom BCM5356 chipset developed for the transfer speeds of up to 80 Mb/s. Its power consumption is only 5 W! The new chipset features the green Wi-Fi mode, dynamically switching off the chip components to reduce power consumption.
The device combines the features of a router, residential gateway, wireless access point, 4-port switch and a firewall. The Tenda W316R is designed for internet connection sharing in smaller businesses and households. The router features the implemented WDS function allowing connection of two or more APs to extend your Wi-Fi range.
The Tenda W316R's motto is "Easy to Use" as it puts emphasis on easy setting. It supports WPA2-PSK and features disabling SSID, MAC address filtering, port forwarding and other standard network functions. Content filtering blocks inappropriate websites. The device is equipped with a non-removable omni-directional 5dBi antenna.
