tomtoc Terra-A27 laptop sleeve
The tomtoc Terra-A27 protective sleeve is built on advanced CornerArmor technology, which uses highly flexible and reinforced edges to effectively absorb shocks from drops and during travel. The entire construction is complemented by Japanese NATULON Plus YKK zips, which are lined with an internal protective ridge to prevent scratching. The outer fabric is highly resistant to water and moisture penetration, while the interior features a velvet lining with superior padding that securely holds a 13" laptop and protects it from vibrations. Thanks to its combination of technical engineering and precise tailoring, this sleeve provides top-tier mechanical protection in a compact design.
Key features of the tomtoc Terra-A27 Laptop Sleeve 13'', Snowberg
- CornerArmor technology with reinforced edges acts as a bumper, protecting your laptop from damage if dropped on its edge
- Moisture-repellent outer layer
- Dense and soft inner lining eliminates the risk of scratching the device's surface and dampens vibrations
- Premium Japanese NATULON Plus YKK zips with a self-locking function are made for smooth operation
- An internal barrier along the zip prevents direct contact between metal parts and the laptop's edge
- The sleeve maintains a slim profile even with a high level of padding, making it easy to slip into other bags
- The fabrics used are designed for long life and resistance to everyday mechanical wear and tear
Structural edge and corner protection
The most important technical feature of this sleeve is the CornerArmor system integrated into the bottom and side edges. This highly flexible construction creates a protective zone around the laptop that absorbs kinetic energy in the event of an impact and prevents the device's corners from deforming. Combined with the dense inner padding, the sleeve provides protection comparable to much bulkier bags, while remaining lightweight and pliable.
Material specification and durability
The outer shell is made of a high-density functional fabric which, thanks to a special surface treatment, exhibits hydrophobic properties. This means water runs off the surface and does not penetrate through to your electronics. The NATULON Plus YKK zips are designed for a high number of opening cycles without jamming, which increases the sleeve's reliability during intensive daily use in the field and office.
Ergonomics and internal layout
The inside of the sleeve is designed with an emphasis on the absolute safety of the laptop's surface. The velvet lining is not only pleasant to the touch but, most importantly, is lint-free and keeps the surface of your device clean. The entire perimeter of the zip is covered on the inside by a padded ridge, so the laptop never comes into contact with the zip's teeth when you're inserting or removing it. This detail, combined with the plush profile, ensures the device is secured in the sleeve without undue pressure, yet doesn't move around inside.
