The final part of the Millennium series
In one of Stockholm's parks there is a beggar's body with amputated toes and toes. It seems to be the unfortunate death of a homeless person, but pathologist Fredrika Nyman cannot get rid of the feeling that there is something wrong with the dead and therefore will contact Mikael Blomkvist.
The case wakes up Mikael's attention because the beggar has heard a few things about the Swedish Minister of Defense Johannes Forsell. Was it just a paranoid lunatic or was he really involved with the government?
Mikael asks Lisbeth Salander for help. However, after the funeral of Holger Palmgren, she left Sweden and does not respond. Nobody knows she is staying in Moscow to deal with her sister Camilla once and for all. She decided: she wasn't going to be hunted prey anymore. She will become a beast now.

David Lagercrantz
(b. 1962) is a Swedish journalist and writer, author of several popular popular educational books and novels. The best-selling biography I am Zlatan Ibrahimović (2011, Czech 2014) has been translated into more than thirty languages and several million copies have been sold worldwide.
In 2015, he wrote a sequel to the worldwide phenomenon of Millennium Stieg Larsson - The Girl in the Spiderweb has attracted huge media interest and has become one of the best selling books of the year in the world. The story of Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist was further developed in The Man Who Seeked His Shadow (2017). The sixth episode The Girl Who Must Die (2019) is the final episode of the series. Like the previous volumes, it is also published as an audiobook by OneHotBook, performed by Martin Stránský (Onehotbook.cz).
