V popisku produktu není uvedeno, že napájení notebooku je pomocí dvou kabelů - USB-C a nabíjecího kabelu pro HP notebooky a výkon 280 W je pouze při použití obou kabelů, takže pro notebooky jiných značek dok dodá pouze 120 W přes USB-C. V parametrech je řeč o Power Delivery 280 W, což je zavádějící protože Power Delivery je standard pro napájení přes USB-C a zde je část výkonu dodáno přes proprietární HP kabel.
