TOKINA 11-16 mm F2.8 for Canon
The Tokina 11-16mm lens is an ultra wide, high aperture f/2.8 lens designed for its ease of use in low light operations and is considered by many photo journalists as the most suitable lens for poorly lit environments. Sporting a focal range of 11-16mm, it provides professional photographers with an extremely wide image angle range, adding dramatic effects to your photos and elevating your snaps to a whole new level.
The Tokina 11-16 lens uses the newly-developed, next generation, silent SD-M motor. The silent motor combined with the GMR sensor allows the Tokina 11-16mm lens to operate with a higher speed, but less noise, when in autofocus. The products aspherical lens elements feature extremely low dispersion,which allows for a reduction in chromatic aberration whilst helping you to achieve maximum resolution, high luminance and the correction of geometric distortion. The lens also features an anti-reflection surface, which contributes to the lenses highly natural rendering of shadows and half-tones in photos.
The lens allows for an easy and convenient switch between automatic and manual focus. The One-touch Focus Clutch allows for simple and seamless switching between modes by simply moving the focus backwards and forwards as required. No adjustments are required to the body of the camera as everything is done by moving the focus ring.
The Tokina-11-16mm lens is designed for use with digital cameras with APS-C, CCD, or CMOS sensors. This lens is not designed for use with cameras that feature full-frame sensors.
