A spectacular royal tournament
Welcome to the new expansion to the legendary Carcassonne, where you'll join the spectacular Royal Tournament. Send out your knights, bandits and peasants to collect as many trophies as possible for you to gain glory and victory. Be strategic and choose carefully which teammate you enter into the tournament, as each one has a unique power. If you manage to win, a statue with your shield will be erected in your honour, which will bring you valuable points.
All new cards and figures can be combined with the base game
The Tournaments and Shields expansion brings new elements and mechanisms to the game that will enrich your strategy and provide many fun moments. In the box you'll find a set of cards to expand your playing field, and a special tournament board to place in the middle of the table. The game also includes trophy cards, which you get for winning the tournament, and sets of shields with different values, which you assign to your teammates. Carcassonne: Tournaments and Shields is the sixth expansion to the popular game, which is not available without the base version. It's perfect for players who want to add a new layer of tactics and tension to classic Carcassonne, with trophy battles and end-game scoring based on shield placement. The game is ideal for 2-6 players.
