Transport yourself back in time to the age of exploration with Catan. Your ships, after a long, arduous voyage of hardship, have reached the shores of an unknown island. It's called Katan. But you are not the only travellers who have discovered the island. Other intrepid sailors also landed on the coast of Catan. The men and women of your expedition are establishing the first two settlements. Fortunately, the country is rich in mineral resources. Gradually, you build roads, you build villages, which later grow into cities. All the events on the island are determined by barter. Some ingredients you have plenty of, others are missing. Ore for wool, bricks for timber, traded according to the actual needs for the building just contemplated. In the board game Catan, you need to act thoughtfully. Establish villages in strategic locations, trade profitably. This is the only way you will have a chance of success. Set a clear goal. Become the sole master of Katan. The island is also plagued by robbers, who occasionally deprive the inhabitants of their long-saved earnings. All groups trade with each other and try to develop as quickly as possible. Which expedition will be the most successful in the end?
