Cobi 2559 Panzer VIII MAUS
Build a model of the biggest tank in history - PANZER VIII MAUS from WW2. Discover the power of the Third Reich's secret projects and create a model of the super-heavy tank that was destined to dominate the battlefield. The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus isn't just the world's largest tank, it's a fascinating piece of history that you can now recreate with COBI kits. The 188-ton Maus tank, built by Krupp under the supervision of Ferdinand Porsche, was intended as a response to the superiority of Allied armoured vehicles. Although it never made it into mass production, its existence is forever etched in military history. Two prototypes were taken over by the Red Army - one complete model was built from their parts, which can still be admired in the Russian museum in Kubinka.
