Cobi 5904 Armed Forces F-35A LIGHTNING II HUSARZ 1:48

F-35A Lightning II "Hussars"

F-35A Lightning II "Husarz" is a unique kit from COBI that allows you to build a model of the fifth generation fighter - one of the real aces in the sky that will soon join the Polish Air Force. The F-35A is America's newest generation single-seat multi-role fighter developed under the Joint Strike Fighter program. Designed by a consortium of Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems, it stands out for its innovative technological solutions and its ability to operate in all combat conditions. In 2024, the Polish Ministry of National Defence officially named our F-35A "Husarz", a reference to the proud tradition of Polish hussars (winged hussars from the 16th-18th centuries). By 2030, a total of 32 aircraft will be delivered to Poland to replace the ageing MiG-29 and Su-22. The F-35"Husarz" will become a key element of the defence against the threat posed by the Russian Su-35 and Su-57.

Officially licensed by Lockheed Martin

The model was created in close cooperation with the renowned aircraft manufacturer Lockheed Martin. This guarantees the highest quality and accuracy of reproduction for model collectors and military aviation enthusiasts. The 1:48 scale allows for realistic reproduction of the size and proportions of the aircraft, making the kit ideal for play. At the same time, the model fits perfectly into larger dioramas and collections and looks great on shelves and in display cases.

Realistic details

The kit consists of more than six hundred high quality parts, designed with exceptional attention to detail. The blocks fit together perfectly, ensuring a rewarding build and solid construction of the finished model. The model contains a number of movable features such as an opening cockpit, rudder and elevators and a working bomb bay. Rubber tyres on the chassis give it an even more realistic look and allow the model to move safely on flat surfaces. The kit contains realistically reproduced rockets and bombs that can be easily inserted and removed from the bomb bay to present the aircraft in both combat and neutral configurations. This detail not only enhances the visual appeal of the model, but also allows it to be modified.

Prints instead of stickers

The set includes a pilot figure dressed in an aviation uniform with all the details. The figure is equipped with a helmet and oxygen mask, allowing it to sit in the cockpit or stand alone as a display exhibit next to the aircraft. All markings, emblems and graphic details are permanently printed on the dice. This not only increases the abrasion resistance of the model, but also improves its aesthetic appearance - the model always looks neat and professional. The set includes an elegant stand with a plaque with the name of the set. The whole model looks impressive on a shelf, in a display case or among other models from the collection. The kit contains clear, colourful and detailed instructions that guide you through the building process in an intuitive and easy-to-understand way. This makes this set a challenge for younger builders and an enriching project for adult fans of building with blocks.
