This game is full of intrigue and political prestige. Starting at the end of the Second World War, and finishing with the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1989,  Cold War simulates the 45-year conflict. 

Cold War takes basic mechanisms from classic card-driven games. It is swift to play and not unnecessarily complicated. The game board shows a political map of the world. Players can move units, gain influence, or try to recruit allies in their quest to be the world's superpower. Detailed Event Cards add historical credibility to the game—nothing important has been forgotten here. Will you be the American president or the Soviet Prime Minister? How will you drive your nation to victory? Will you be the first to put a man on the moon, or will the game end suddenly with a devastating nuclear strike? The choice is yours.
